Now, The Royal Mint has just confirmed the release of a brand new UK 50p series celebrating three of her greatest discoveries.
The first reptile to feature in The Mary Anning Collection is the Temnodontosaurus – a marine predator that grew up to 12 metres and hunted the deep ocean millions of years ago.
